Fried Vege Balls

Fried Vege Balls

This is my mom's contribution to the family's Christmas Dinner last christmas eve.  It's mostly a mix of Cabbage, Carrots and Flour.  Definitely no Meat.  It does however taste a lot better than how it looks :)

Oatmeal and Chocolate Chip Cookies

Oatmeal Cookies

Chocolate Chip Cookies

These are the products of my aunt.  She asked me to help her take some photographs of her cookies to show her products to their prospective clients online.  If you are around Manila or Quezon City , Philippines, you may contact the "Pantry Divas" at 703-51-58 or 710-07-68 for inquiries

Fried Kangkong

Fried Kangkong (Water Spinach)
Another of my mom's recipe.  Cooking it is pretty straightforward, start off with sauteing some chopped ginger (we didn't add garlic because it's prohibited for buddhist vegetarians), then add the stems, add some salt, seasoning, sugar, cook for awhile and add the leaf.  Add some water along the way. Cook until the stems are tender.  Enjoy a healthy and delicious meal!

Fried Bangus

Fried Bangus (Milkfish)
This is from my mom's recipe... am a bit guilty since I was supposed to be the one to cook it.  But I was busy learning some photoshop tricks so my mom just went ahead to cook it and left me to finish it up.  It's pretty easy, just marinade the fish with some salt and wash the salt off after marinading to prevent it from getting too salty.  Then roll it on Flour before frying, the flour is supposed to help suppress the oil from splattering all over the place, and avoid hurting ourselves while cooking the fish.  Eat the Bangus together with some chopped Tomatoes...

Lunchoen Meat Spaghetti

Luncheon Meat Spaghetti
I used the Del Monte Beef and Mushroom Pasta Sauce for this one.  But since we didn't have Beef and Mushroom around, I just used Luncheon Meat instead...  I made a mistake in cooking this spaghetti because I used too many onions... Lesson learned, I shouldn't have been too excited with the onions... but nevertheless, this version of my spaghetti was delicious :)

Cream and Spicy Tuna Pasta

 Cream and SpicyTuna Pasta
I got the recipe from the back of Del Monte's Cream and Spicy Tuna Pasta's Packaging, and used the generic pasta brand the local Save More supermarket...  surprisingly, the pasta is good enough, and the the recipe is easy to cook, just add a can of Tuna to the Sauce and that's it...

Adobong Bangus

Adobong Bangus (Milkfish)
This is another recipe that I got from "The Adobo Book" of Ms. Nancy Reyes-Lumen and Reynaldo Gamboa Alejandro.  It's pretty simple to cook, one of the key ingredient is the Apple Cider used for marinading, but I guess you need to get a copy of the book to see the recipe since I don't want to infringe any copyright by copying the recipe here...

Pork Adobo (3rd try)

Pork Adobo (3rd try)
Adobo again, this is my 3rd try, and this time I produced more sauce.  On my next round of pork adobo, I want to create one with lots of delicious and yummy sauce. I used the same recipe from "The Adobo Book" of Nancy Reyes Lumen and Reynaldo Gamboa Alejandro.

Pork Adobo

Pork Adobo

One of the pinoy favorites, it's one of the first recipe that I have learned to cook aside from adobong pusit(squid), pan cakes, eggs and rice...  It's also part of my initial trials on food photography.  Got the recipe for this adobo variant from the "Adobo Book" by Nancy Reyes Lumen and Reynaldo Gamboa Alejandro.
